“Guarded” represents the shield we carry every day in our lives. In the outside world, we often have stood alone, so we put up a wall that many often mistake as aggressive and sometimes view as beautiful. Every rose has thorns in the wild even when at its most calm. The tattoo on the neck is a representation of a cross-sectioned slave ship, the tattoo below represents the triangular passage of slavery.
